Today we have the lovely miss Kate (again) and Trevor. Trevor can solve a rubix cube in under 2 minutes, as I've made him prove this to me numerous time, so Myth is Confirmed. hot Minnetonka fringe boots and jersey skirt. Trevor gets tons of points for the rolled jean hems exposing his socks, his amazing crayon box shirt, and his straw hat. HELL YEAH!



Also, we have Claire in her beautiful BTSSB skirt. I got to peek into her closet in her hotel- it's like a princess's dream closet (aka my dream closet). She looks like a doll, I just want to dress her up some more!! XD

Hey everyone. Sorry, School's been kicking my ass. Add that to my natural knack for procrastination... well. lets just say nothing gets done. But I'll start posting as frequently as I can!!



I was at New York Anime Festival not too long ago. There was a great lolita presence!! This girl was super cute-  loved her outfit, but it felt really casual as well. Must be the punk touches? Really good ideal of lolita being casual and not overpowering. Plus I love that bow sweater from H&M and I'm kicking myself for not buying it last year when they had it! Ugh! Wonder what she picked up at the BTSSB booth? :3

I'm loving the super long purple hair extension, too. No, seriously, its awesome.



Also, Velvet Sparkle is officially open and online. Yes, there are a few bugs and broken links, but I'm going to be ironing those problems out and adding Yukiumi nails. I also Got a second shipment with new goods to be added by the end of the weekend as well!

Kind of a tame outfit today for myself. Satin zebra ruffle blouse, Barbie varsity jacket, Timbaland sneakers (with gold CHAIN "laces"). Dchao is rocking some primary colored Nike kicks and an over-dyed blue buffalo plaid shirt that I ALMOST bought myself, which would be lollertastic if we were both wearing it.

y jacket is plastered with rhinestones, which gets instant approvals from myself. Duh.

Pretty casual stuff. My outfit today was rather low-key. Patent Blue kitten heel shoes, purple tights, Forever 21 skirt on clearance and a fun Engrish shirt. Keepin it real.

This very first entry on the Sparkle Blog features my lovely friend, Kate Farstad. She is a musician, artist, and awesome person that I invite anyone in the 55404 zip code to know. She also has some sweet outfits, as captured on this day. Why does that rediculous shirt exist?? TOO CRAZY AHHHH. Upon closer inspection, I liked the idea of delicate lace contrasted against the bold brights. Soft vs. harsh? Cropped zebra pants and black high tops completes this look. only you, Kate Farstad, could be so brave.
